One new launch step, and two labelled links

• New step on the e-commerce store launch checklist: “Load-test your hosting before launch day”, last in the testing section. It exists because the answer differs by route and the difference is easy to get wrong: on a hosted platform you do not control the servers, so you read the published traffic and checkout limits instead of testing them; if you host the store yourself you run a load test against a staging copy, a week out rather than the night before. Cloudways is the labelled partner on that step, for the self-hosted case only.
• The “Configure SEO settings” step on the website launch checklist gained its free checks — Search Console indexing, one crawl with a free tool, page speed in your browser's own developer tools — and Semrush as the labelled partner after them, for running the same audit on a schedule instead of by hand.
• Partner links now number seven, listed by name on the privacy and terms pages, both re-dated today. Both new notes follow the rules the older ones do: free advice first and longer, one partner per step, hidden when you print or export, and never carried into a share link.
• No new scripts, cookies, analytics or external requests. Nothing in this release changed what the site loads.

The WordPress route, and one legal page

• The platform guide gained a WordPress section. It was the one route the guide costed in the table but never explained: what shared hosting really asks of you month to month, what managed hosting takes off your hands, and the narrow case where paying several times the shared rate is the right call. Shared hosting remains the first answer for a first site. A new FAQ entry and its structured data follow the same line.
• Partner links now number five. The fifth is WP Engine, in that new WordPress-hosting section, priced from WP Engine's own plans page and read-dated on the page. It is a different kind of product from Weblium in the builder section, and the guide still carries at most one partner per decision. The privacy and terms pages name every partner link on the site.
• New page: the imprint — one authoritative record of who operates this site, linked from every footer. Operator details used to be repeated on two pages; now they live in exactly one, and everything else points at it. The privacy policy gained the things that must stay with it: the legal basis and retention for server logs, the host named as processor with its transfer safeguard, your GDPR rights, and your right to complain to the Lithuanian supervisory authority.
• Still no scripts, cookies, analytics or external requests. Nothing about this release changed what the site loads.

A guide, and what it earns

• New guide: choosing a website platform — a decision map for a first website, with the year-one and year-two cost of a site builder, a hosted store, WordPress and plain HTML, what the free tiers actually cap, and what each route costs to leave. It is the step that comes before the website launch checklist.
• Partner links now number four. Three were added to checklist items in August (moving house, apartment move-in/move-out, international travel packing); the fourth is in the new guide's site-builder section. Every one is labelled at the link, carries rel="sponsored nofollow", sits after advice that is free to act on, and is hidden when you print. The full list is on the privacy and terms pages, both re-dated today.
• No new external requests, no scripts and no cookies came with any of it. The site still loads nothing from anywhere but itself.

The workspace rebuild

Checklistor rebuilt from the ground up as a static, offline-first site — same address, same templates, much more tool:

• Multi-list workspace — keep every checklist in one place, with per-list and per-section progress.
• Sub-items, notes and due dates on any item; overdue and due-today flags.
• Share by link — the whole list is compressed into the URL; recipients save their own private copy. No server copy exists.
• New exports: CSV for spreadsheets and calendar (.ics) for due-dated items, alongside Print/PDF, Markdown and JSON.
• Paste-to-import — paste any plain-text or Markdown list and it becomes a structured checklist.
• Undo for deletions and bulk actions.
• Template pages are now real, fast HTML — tickable in place, printable, and readable by search engines.
• A bespoke “Ledger” design language (ink on paper, pen-blue marks, ledger numbering, a stamped completion seal) with a “midnight desk” dark mode — plus a full accessibility pass (WCAG 2.2 AA target).
• Checklists from the previous version are detected and restored automatically on first visit.
