Where do visitors' checkmarks go?
Into each visitor's own browser storage, scoped to the widget. Nothing is sent to Checklistor or to you — the widget is a static file with no analytics.
Can I preload items into the widget?
The widget starts empty and lets visitors build their own list. To publish a fixed checklist, link to a shared list from the workspace instead — the whole checklist travels inside the link.
Does the old embed code still work?
Yes. The widget URL and its parameters (title, bg, text, primary, border) are unchanged, so embeds created earlier keep working.
